Mauna loa eruption, 2nd December 2022
After a 38-year period of silence, the longest in its recorded history, Pele has reawakened. The largest active volcano in the world, Mauna Loa, erupted for about 12 days in late 2022, the first eruption since 1984.
I stayed up all night at elevation of 6765 feet 45F. It was freezing.
